The Colonial Beach Drifters are a minor league baseball team located in Colonial Beach, Virginia. They compete in the Coastal Plain League, which is a summer collegiate baseball league. The Drifters are a relatively new team, having been founded in 2013. However, they have quickly become one of the most popular teams in the league.

The Drifters got their nickname from the town of Colonial Beach itself. Colonial Beach is a popular tourist destination, and the team wanted to reflect the town's laid-back, coastal atmosphere in its nickname.
