Martinsville Artesians

The Martinsville Artesians are the athletic teams of Martinsville High School in Martinsville, Indiana. They compete in the Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) Class 4A.

The Artesians chose the nickname "Artesians" in reference to the city's artesian wells. Artesian wells are wells that tap into an underground aquifer that is under pressure, causing the water to flow naturally to the surface.
