The Cardozo Clerks is the name of the athletic teams of Cardozo High School in Washington, D.C. The school's mascot is the Clerk, and the school colors are blue and white.
The nickname "Cardozo Clerks" for the athletic teams of Cardozo High School is a reference to the school's namesake, Benjamin Nathan Cardozo. Cardozo was a Supreme Court Justice from 1932 to 1942, and he is considered to be one of the most influential jurists in American history.
