Utah Jynx
The Utah Jynx were a women's football team in the Women's Football Alliance (WFA) from 2011 to 2014. The team was based in West Valley City, Utah, and played their home games on the campus of Taylorsville High School.
The word "jynx" is also a reference to the mythological creature of the same name. The jynx is a creature that is said to be able to cast spells on people. The team may have chosen this name as a way to show their power and their ability to control their own destiny.
