Poplar Springs Atomics

The Poplar Springs Atomics are the athletic teams of Poplar Springs High School in Graceville, Florida. They compete in the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) Class 1A.

The Atomics chose the nickname "Atomics" in reference to the city's nuclear power plant. The Graceville Nuclear Generating Station is located just outside of Poplar Springs, and it is one of the largest nuclear power plants in the United States. The Atomics' mascot is a nuclear atom, and the school's colors are green and white.
