I never knew these existed until today... The relief!

If you have ever had hemorrhoids, you'll know how important it is to find relief

Hemorrhoids are swollen veins in the rectum and anus. They are very common, affecting about half of all adults at some point in their lives. Hemorrhoids can cause a variety of symptoms, including pain, itching, bleeding, and a feeling of fullness in the rectum.

The constant need to find relief is tiring and stressful if you can't get access to medical treatment straight away. But today, I found something you can have in your home that will give you that temporary relief that you desperately need and it's portable too!

What is a Hemorrhoid Toilet Bath?

A hemorrhoid toilet bath is a type of bath that is used to relieve the pain and discomfort of hemorrhoids. It is also known as a sitz bath.

To take a hemorrhoid toilet bath, you will need a basin that fits over your toilet seat. You can also use a small plastic tub or even a large bowl. Fill the basin with warm water and add a few drops of essential oil, such as lavender or chamomile.

Sit in the basin for 15-20 minutes, two or three times a day. The warm water will help to soothe the area and reduce inflammation. The essential oils will add a relaxing and calming effect.

Here are some additional tips for using a hemorrhoid toilet bath:

  • Use warm, not hot, water. Hot water can irritate the skin.
  • Do not add soap or other products to the water. Soap can irritate the skin and make the hemorrhoids worse.
  • Pat the area dry after the bath. Do not rub, as this can irritate the skin further.
  • Apply a moisturizer to the area after the bath. A moisturizer can help keep the skin hydrated and soothed.

If your hemorrhoids are severe or do not improve with home treatment, see a doctor. There may be an underlying medical condition that needs to be treated.

Here are some additional tips to help prevent hemorrhoids:

  • Eat a high-fiber diet. Fiber helps to keep the stool soft and easy to pass.
  • Drink plenty of fluids. Fluids help to keep the stool soft and easy to pass.
  • Avoid straining when you have a bowel movement. Straining can put pressure on the veins in the rectum and cause hemorrhoids.
  • If you are overweight or obese, lose weight. Excess weight can put pressure on the veins in the rectum and cause hemorrhoids.
  • Exercise regularly. Exercise helps to keep the muscles in the pelvic floor strong and can help to prevent hemorrhoids.
  • If you have a job that requires you to sit for long periods of time, get up and move around every 30 minutes. Sitting for long periods of time can put pressure on the veins in the rectum and cause hemorrhoids.
  • If you have hemorrhoids, avoid sitting on hard surfaces. Hard surfaces can put pressure on the hemorrhoids and make them worse.
